What to expect

This is the Listening section of the Rosemounts IELTS CBT Mock Series™. You will hear four sections of audio, played back to back, totalling around 30 minutes. There are 40 questions in all.

Section 1 — a phone conversation about joining a sports centre
Section 2 — a talk about a community garden
Section 3 — a tutorial discussion about a research project
Section 4 — a lecture on urban beekeeping

How it works

The audio will start automatically when you begin the test and plays only once — you cannot pause, rewind, or replay any part of it. This mirrors the official IELTS test.
You can answer questions and change your answers while the audio is playing and during the built-in pauses between sections.
At the end of Section 4, you will have 2 minutes to review your answers before the test is submitted.
Use the question palette at the top to jump between questions. Flag any you want to come back to.
Do not switch tabs or applications — leaving the test window is logged.
